Active Learning in the News

The Times of Malta reports on a Grade 11-12 class that visited the Inquisitors Palace as part of their history class. To prepare for the visit, the students first held discussions, conducted research and wrote about the Inquisition. It was also decided to act a role-play at the palace, using a script based on an actual Inquisition case.

The Hindu reports nearly 1,000 newly appointed block resource teachers (BRTs) enjoy the advantage of undergoing an intense orientation into activities of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA), Activity Based Learning (ABL), and Active Learning Methodology (ALM), at the very outset.
